Job DescriptionMidland University, a small, private four-year college in Fremont, Nebraska, (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking an exceptional adjunct faculty member to teach our College Mathematics course in an in-person format. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering in-person class activities, developing engaging online materials and assessments, providing timely feedback on written assignments, and responding to student inquiries within 24-hours, meeting with them individually as needed. Courses are offered in 16-week terms. Term begins in January.
This position includes two in-person sections of College Mathematics, plus a lab course to assist students who need additional support.
Qualifications:
• A master's degree in Mathematics or closely-related discipline is required
• A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience, teaching at the college level or teaching/ training adults is highly preferred
