Looking for a self-motivated Senior Development Test Engineer to support DFT's ongoing product development and system improvements.

The position is responsible for ensuring that new products have been effectively and efficiently verified and validated prior to their release for shipment and that these designs effectively meet documented and implied user needs and requirements.

This position will be responsible for creating and executing full scope test plans (software, hardware, and system), ensuring that new releases meet desired program/project requirements, managing version control processes, and ensuring that DFT products are robust and hardened before delivering.

    What You'll Do:
Maintain the highest quality standards for all product and system development. Understand the criticality of robust technical offerings and accept nothing less than stable, robust, and resilient product deliverables.

Become a subject matter expert (SME) on DFT systems, understanding the nuances and intricacies of using DFT products, provide valuable feedback and enhancement recommendations based on user workflows.

Work with stakeholders throughout the development life cycle. Create requirements-based test plans, develop test cases, and execute them both software and hardware.

Conduct comprehensive testing across the systems to include requirements testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, UX testing, automation testing, and other testing of DFT systems.

Create Requirement Traceability Matrices, establishing clear links between requirements, test cases and their results.

Under guidance from manager, collaborate with manufacturing quality control team to ensure repeatable test procedures are executed while properly and thoroughly documenting and communicating test results.

Champion Customer Experience and Usability of DFT products. Obsess over DFT product usability. Help shape the DFT product roadmap.

    Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar STEM field
Understanding of the defense technology space specifically stringent quality requirements and standards
Experience operating within defense programs, understanding milestone events and expectations.
Experience collaborating with or working within a product development organization.
