    Position OverviewAs a logistic coordinator, customer satisfaction is a priority as it is critical to the success of the business.

    This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating freight and supply logistics, shipping routes, and delivery to maximize efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction.

    Additionally, responding immediately to customer questions and complaints, and notifying them of any delays in the delivery schedule is essential to this position.

    $ $25.00 per hourEssential Job DutiesOperate safelyDispatchingPrinting manifestsPre-calling customersLoad assignments for drivers and delivery helpersSchedule transfersCommunicate with sales team, drivers and customers regarding delivery functions or issuesMonitor metrics and error trackingProvides Excellent Customer ServiceFleet managementDriver file monitoringDocument scanningAssist with checking out drivers, scheduling delivery changes, and DOT administrative tasksEvaluate and identify methods and procedures to optimize and streamline production processes.

    Print and distribute work picks and consolidated work picksCoordinate the use of outside trucks, trailers and transportation services, as neededParticipates in and completes assigned trainingsAdminister all phases of time clock managementMaintains invoice records, posts corrections, maintain filing systemComplies with all company policies and guidelinesOther Duties as assigned by Management.

    Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMinimum education required
    • High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and experience.

    Strong administrative skillsAbility to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skillsAbility to deal constructively with conflict and recognize potential problemsGood organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skillsKnowledge of supply management principles and practicesKnowledge of construction or building industry preferredProficiency with or ability to learn current technologies (e.g. Smartphone, GPS and other necessary business applications)Ability to lift up 25 lbs on a regular basis and 50 lbs on occasionZeeland Lumber & Supply, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
