Job DescriptionSalary:

LPR International is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide support for a client's Adult Evaluation and Review Services program. This position requires travel throughout Prince George's County to complete patient visits.

AERS staff conducts comprehensive evaluations to identify home and community-based services for individuals at risk of institutionalization. The evaluation is conducted in the client's home or current location.

Population served:
- Elderly
- Developmentally Disabled
- Mentally ill
- Chronically ill children and adults

Job Duties:

Completes a Plan of Care outlining the medical and psychosocial needs of the client.
Teaches and demonstrates basic nursing care procedures and health promotion concepts to clients, families, and other appropriate individuals.
Documents assessments, treatment intervention and progress in agency medical records in accordance with the Health Department, State and Federal guidelines.
Prepares required nursing and program reports.
Confers with staff from hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, and Support Planners regarding care and placement of chronically ill individuals.
Performs other duties and task, which are within the general occupational category and responsibility, consistent with the mandates of the client.

Minimum Qualifications:

RN (license issued by the State of Maryland)
A valid driver's license (must have own car to travel throughout Prince George's County)
Knowledge of Microsoft Programs, ability to type at a minimum of 35 words per minute
