    Your Role on Our Team:


    The Buyer/Production Planner I is responsible for planning, prioritizing, and expediting product families assigned along with their associated raw materials.

    Create and publish production schedules that consider normal and promotional demand, plant capacity, product mix, and material availability that ensures on-time delivery to our customers.

    Manage all day-to-day activities relating to raw materials assigned.

    Due to the nature of this position, interaction with all departments throughout the organization is common in addition to collaboration with corporate counterparts.

    You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

    Create and maintain the production plan for finished goods and subassemblies based on WOS goals, defined run strategies, equipment, labor and raw material availability reconciling any known disruptions ahead of the production start dateCollaborate with Corporate Supply/Demand Planning on Promotion coordination and executionParticipate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).

    Understand capacity in area of influence and identify time periods when capacity could impact Operations ability to meet demand or need for additional workActively support cradle to grave product management reducing risk of supply disruption and end of life excess and obsolescenceCoordinates the planning and implementation of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and deviationsPurchase Order ManagementRelease, confirm, and actively reschedule, and cancel raw material purchase orders for product families assigned, managing all day-to-day activities and escalating roadblocks to ManagerExecute and administer inventory initiatives and implement best practicesMaintain proper inventory levels, recommend and preserve safety stock for raw materialsAssist in achieving inventory turnover goalsCollaborate with suppliers and Operations on visual management, Kanban, VMI, Vending, and Consigned InventoryThe TOOLS you'll bring with you: Bachelor's degree required in a business-related field and a minimum of 1 year Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience Working knowledge of ERP/MRPProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, and Outlook)Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills requiredStrong organizational skills and a stellar attention to detail are essential.
