- Primarily responsible for evaluating market and site selection for the development of utility-scale Wind, Solar and Storage facilities across the United States.
- Oversee and present potential interconnection alternatives for various projects.
- Perform power flow analysis using power flow software such as PSS/E.
- Review and verify interconnection studies and analysis from transmission consultants and providers.
- Track transmission projects and overall transmission development within the various markets.
- Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of regional transmission systems and providers.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of direct transmission planning experience, working for a Developer, Utility or Consultancy.
- Experience using power flow software such as PSS/E, PSLF, TARA and PowerWorld.
- Experience working in and managing interconnection processes in one or more ISO/RTO (NYISO, ISO-NE, MISO, SPP, ERCOT, CAISO, or WECC)
