    Vertis Therapy is searching for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join their team at an Assisted Living facility in Marion, IN. This therapist-owned company focuses on delivering top-notch, personalized care.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Review patient information and assess its impact
    • Conduct thorough patient assessments
    • Develop individualized treatment plans with achievable goals
    • Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines
    • Document patient progress regularly
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
    • Orient patients to treatment procedures
    • Provide education to patients and caregivers
    • Refer patients to additional services when necessary
    • Participate in quality improvement processes
    • Attend rehabilitation team conferences and educational opportunities
    • Adhere to company policies and professional standards
    • Promote company programs and services
    • Perform assigned duties efficiently

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology
    • State license/certification
    • Preferably 1 year of geriatric rehabilitation experience
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in computer skills and documentation
    • Knowledge of speech therapy principles and equipment
    • Familiarity with accreditation standards
