    Job title: Material Handler

    Description

    In this role as a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating industrial trucks, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe working environment.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Position forks or clamps under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, or materials and transport loads to designated areas.
    • Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting devices.
    • Load and unload materials onto or off trailers.

    Secondary Duties:

    • Assist in tracking inventory of materials on the work floor and supply production workers with materials as needed.
    • Lubricate trucks, recharge batteries, and fill fuel tanks.
    • Complete daily checklists of industrial trucks and communicate any needed maintenance/repair issues discovered.
