Job Title: Registrar's Office Work Study
Department: Registrar's Office
Reports To: District Registrar
Location: Marshalltown Community College
Rate of Pay: $10.00 per hour
Number of Openings: 1
Summary: The purpose of this position is to maintain the organization and accuracy of student files. Responsible for providing front-end customer services to students regards registration, schedule changes, transcript requests, and the graduation process. This position is cross-trained to provide general customer service to students at the cashier and reception windows as needed.
Job Duties:

Work closely with the Student Records Specialist at MCC to ensure the smooth transition of student files.

Manage requests for student records and provide timely customer service to other college departments.

Alphabetically file or scan current documents. Purge and scan archive/back-files as well.

Prepare mailings and commencement materials. Shred as needed.
Education and Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent.
