Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Excellent Troubleshooting ability with Diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and electrical systems
• Digital Literacy
• Ability to facilitate technical training and impart detailed information.
• Must conform to ISO standards.
• Strong metathetical or electrical background, and strong diagnostic skills along with making field adjustments on blast hole drills.
• As a technician, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and aspects of blast hole drill and mine equipment.
• Inspect equipment for proper performance and determines faults and malfunctions.
• Adjust equipment and repair / replace defective parts components or systems according to scope of work.
• Test repair equipment to ensure proper operational performance.
• Equipment Operation - **Rigging techniques - Identify the weight of object being picked, select proper rigging, inspect rigging, verify capacity of equipment used to make the pick, inspect equipment, select proper picking points, Proper attachment of rigging, use a tag line if needed, use proper hand signals for lifting, maintain proper positioning during pick, Inspect, clean, and return rigging to storage area.
• Computer/Manuals - Build sample labels and take oil samples, Order parts from warehouse, create work orders, create warehouse requisitions, enter work order text, Enter allocated labor.
• Works effectively with other departments
• Electrical - Replace lights. The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.
