    We are looking for an experienced industrial Warehouse Supervisor for 1st shiftin our PCV Global Product and Technology Center in Tucson, Arizona.

    Work schedule is Monday-Friday 5:00am-2:00pm/ weekends on occasion as needed.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Strong emphasis and experience in daily team scheduling/staffing manpower on daily goals.
    • Strong experience with internal customers' demands.
    • Analyze Warehouse schedules and prioritize tasks, emphasizing order pulling for Aftermarket and production orders.
    • Prioritize and coordinate order pulling activities to meet customer demands and shipment schedules.
    • Ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and timely dispatch of products.
    • Collaborate with inventory control teams to address and rectify inaccuracies promptly.
    • Conduct routine reconciliation of supplied materials, applying Value Stream Mapping and Lean methodology principles.
    • Prepare regular reports on order pulling metrics, inventory accuracy, and warehouse performance.
    • Act as a mediator between received units and vendors in case of discrepancies, applying Lean methodology principles.
    • Ensure stock availability to minimize shortages, utilizing Value Stream Mapping for efficient inventory control.
    • Lead and supervise warehouse staff to achieve performance goals and maintain a positive work environment.
    • Suggest improvements to management based on Value Stream Mapping and Lean methodology principles.
    • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with an emphasis on Lean methodology.
    • Recommend changes in working conditions and equipment use to enhance department or workgroup efficiency.
    • Manage shop supplies budgets and inventories, overseeing supply purchases and applying Lean methodology principles.
    • Maintain equipment, secure tools for tasks, and uphold shop and yard facilities with a focus on Lean methodology.
    • Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations among workers.
    • Analyze and resolve work problems or aid workers in solving them, incorporating Value Stream Mapping.
    • Initiate or propose plans to motivate workers to meet work goals, applying Lean methodology principles.
    • Collaborate with customer service teams to address any order-related inquiries or issues.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
    • Experience in process improvement with value stream mapping on the entire warehouse flow.
    • Perform other assigned duties as required.
    Safety-Sensitive Position: The position is safety-sensitive due to the operation of forklifts, cranes, hoists, and machining devices.

    Requirements:
    • Minimum 5+ years supervising others in an industrial warehouse environment.
    • Knowledgeable about different finished and raw parts and assemblies by part number and physical appearance.
    • Able to use AS400 computer database, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook email programs.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Strong emphasis and experience in daily team scheduling/staffing manpower on daily goals.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; and 5-8 years of supervisory experience in an industrial machinery warehouse.
    • Experience working with software applications, preferred experience with routing and dispatch software systems.
    • Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence, with effective verbal communication.
    • Expertise in data reporting, problem identification within data, and daily problem-solving related to inventory control.
    • Competence in evaluating and operating various software programs including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, communication, graphics, and specialized job-related software.
    • Willingness to work night shifts and adjust days off if required.
    • In-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
    • Extended periods of standing, walking, and occasional use of material handling equipment.
    • Capability to solve practical problems and address various concrete variables in situations where standardization is limited.
    • Proficient in interpreting various instructions provided in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, overhead cranes, hoists, and lift trucks utilized in the Manufacturing Department.
    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Arizona driver's license.

    Physical Demands: The physical demands include standing, walking, talking, hearing, using hands for handling and reaching, occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

    Work Environment: Work involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, equipment, occasional wet/humid conditions, high places, fumes, airborne particles, outdoor weather, and loud noise.
