We are seeking both nurse practitioners and physician assistants to join the Division of Emergency Medicine in the Emergency Department located at Rady Children's Hospital Main Campus.

_Rady Children's Hospital San Diego (RCHSD), a 377-bed level 1 Trauma Center, is the major regional primary and tertiary pediatric hospital and is the clinical home of UCSD Department of Pediatrics.
_Please note that this position may be needed to work at our ED site located at Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta for coverage of sick call-ins and patient volume surges.
JOB SUMMARY:
The
Nurse Practitioner - ED functions independently in a staff position, implementing the role of expert practitioner, and provides comprehensive physical assessment, treatment, psychosocial support, referral, and health education to children and families in the Emergency Medicine clinical setting.
Some positions will be responsible for being on call according to a predetermined schedule or as needed, pursuant to hospital needs.
