    Title: IT Data Architect/Engineer

    Location: Chicago, IL 60654

    Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8-5ish, hybrid (Mon/Fri WFH)

    Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 base + 10% Bonus

    What Youll Be Doing:

    The IT Data Architect plays a critical role in structuring the enterprise's data architecture, focusing on designing, creating, deploying, and managing the organization's data architecture. This includes developing data models, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity, accessibility, and security of our data assets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database design, data modeling, and data integration techniques, along with experience in cloud technologies and big data solutions.

    • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data architectures that support enterprise requirements.
    • Design, implement and support data solutions (Snowflake, dbt, Boomi, Fivetran) for scalability, high availability, and security.
    • Collaborate with IT teams and business units to integrate data strategies and solutions into the overall IT architecture.
    • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of database technologies, tools, and services.
    • Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
    • Facilitate data migration and transformation projects, ensuring data quality and integrity.
    • Monitor industry trends and advancements in data architecture technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
    • Provide technical leadership and guidance to data management team.

    What Were Looking For:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or certifications in data architecture, database management, or cloud technologies.
    • Experience working with matrix teams
    • Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role in a complex IT environment.
    • At least 2 years experience with designing, implementing and managing database structure systems, leveraging data warehousing principles.
    • At least 2 years experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies.
    • At least 2 years experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and BI technologies.
    • At least 3 years and demonstrated proficiency with data integration, ETL processes, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
    • Experience with master data management tools (Profisee) preferred
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
