    Pain Management Physician at Southeast Pain and Spine Care (SEPSC) with sites located in Charlotte and surrounding areas

    Southeast Pain and Spine Care was founded in 1997 and has since grown rapidly, currently operating a network of 15 outpatient pain management clinics in the Carolinas and Virginia.

    Southeast Pain and Spine Care is a division of American Anesthesiology of NC, and its parent company is North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA).

    Southeast Pain and Spine Care is now a part of a nationwide network of over 6,000 clinicians, at more than 500 facilities in 20 states, serving over three million patients annually.

    NAPA is a clinician-led, clinically focused, single-specialty organization dedicated to the provision of high-quality anesthesia, pain management, and perioperative care.

    Medial branch blocks, facet joint injections, sacroiliac joint injections, epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, discography, peripheral nerve stimulation, spinal cord stimulation, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, prolotherapy, disc regenerative therapy, peripheral joint injections, and trigger point injections.

    Shifts

    Beyond his medical prowess, he has assumed leadership roles, serving on the Southeast Pain & Spine Care Quality Liaison team for over eight years and joining the Physician Executive Committee in 2020, where he currently holds the position of Medical Director.

    Khan's expertise extends to highly specialized areas within pain management. His extensive skill set allows him to provide comprehensive and effective pain management solutions to his patients.

    I was set up with a "mentor", but all the group encouraged me to reach out with questions on cases or clinic scenarios.

    They are also the largest group of fellowship-trained pain management physicians in the region which results in no shortage of referrals and often challenging cases.

    Develop a custom plan of care by assessing the patient, performing a physical examination, reviewing medical history and ordering necessary diagnostic testing.

    Coordination of care with SEPSC providers and other healthcare providers.
    Providing hope, compassion, and sound medical advice to our patients and our community.
    Eagerness to develop new patient referrals and community awareness of our services.
    Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
    Completion of approved residency in anesthesia or neurology
    Completion of Pain Management fellowship
