Senior Quality Engineer
Blaine, MN | Contract to Hire | $90k – 115k

Konik is partnering with a local precision machining and sheet metal fabricating company that is seeking a Quality Engineer at their Blaine, MN facility You'll analyze trends, implement improvements, and ensure product quality by identifying and resolving defects and non-conformities.

Your role involves coordinating with various departments, developing testing methods, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Analyze trends and implement improvements to ensure product quality.
Coordinate with departments to resolve manufacturing issues and discrepancies.
Develop testing methods and protocols for validation activities - IQ/OQ/PQ, PPAP, gauge R&R studies
Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance processes and systems.
Manage supplier qualifications and drive corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Train on and implement continuous improvement methods.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred but not required
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in CNC machining or sheet metal fabrication.
Experience working in an ISO 13485 and/or AS 9100 environment
Proficiency in statistical process control, GD &T and quality systems.
Understanding of PPAP and AS9102 Processes.
Advanced metrology skills.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
Ability to lead projects and drive measurable improvements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented and self-directed.
Familiarity with ITAR/EAR regulations preferred.
