    Job Overview:

    Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for an Employee Health Coordinator.

    Maintains a complete confidential record on each employee according to established policies and procedures
    Each employee will have a confidential health file initiated by the 10th working day.
    All records will be kept separate from the personnel records.
    Employee health related issues are discussed and recorded in a confidential manner.

    Performs screening tests and administration of vaccines as indicated
    Ensures all new employees will be evaluated for screening tests and vaccines before starting employment.
    Tuberculosis screening tests will be done annually or as instructed by Infection Control committee.

    Pay Range: $35-$53/hour

    This position is per diem, exempt and benefits eligible.

    Compensation is determined based on experience and department equity.

    Responsibilities:

    The Employee Health Coordinator functions independently with specialized knowledge in employee health.

    Qualifications:

    Education

    Bachelor's degree in Nursing requried

    Experience

    At least 3 years of infection control and/or employee health experience preferred
    Statistical analysis experience required

    Teaching experience in adult education preferred

    Other

    Current full vaccination status required, in addition to the COVID-19 & COVID boosters

    Good time management and organizational skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Ability to deal with confidential information
    Ability to communicate and interact with all members of the Shriners team in a professional and courteous manner
    Innovative, self-motivated, and detail oriented
