Join our Mobile Clinic Team providing no cost health screenings preventative services and primary care directly to patients in Orange Osceola and Seminole counties.Responsibilities
- Patient Care Adheres to infection control policies and standards Documents all interactions appropriately in the Electronic Medical Records EMR Explains treatment procedures to patients Prepares patients for examinations Provides patient with patient education when needed or directed by provider Use of the Language Line and ASL services as needed Prepares administering medications including by intramuscular intradermal subcutaneous injections including vaccinations immunizations as directed by a physician or other licensed provider eg a nurse practitioner or physician assistant Wound care changing dressings Transmitting prescription refills as ordered by physician Taking vital signs Maintains patient confidentiality Lab Reports X rays Tests Collects prepares laboratory specimens Performs point of care testing Phlebotomy Documented results communicated to the patient after physician has reviewed the results Administrative Duties Uses computer applications Welcomes patients Registers patients in EMR updates patient medical records Schedules appointments if necessary Ensures proper forms are signed dated such as consent treat Advance Beneficiary Notice ABN forms medical releases HIPAA forms Assist inventory of supplies medications Assisting routine setup take down of Mobile Health Unit Independently arrives correct location mobile unit Evenings weekend coverage events assists set up take down supplies chairs tables tents materials Preps rooms instruments examination testing Stocks supplies cleans equipment protocol Manage biohazardous waste Promotes health education planned engagement activities Education Certified Registered Medical Assistant 1 two year college degree completion specialized course study business trade school Work Experience years relevant work experience Problems faced not typically difficult complex Explains facts related area Benefits Benefits Eligible For more information UCF Health benefits go httpsucfhealthcomcareers
