Job DescriptionOur busy law firm is growing and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent our clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners as well as administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve our clients. If you have excellent research and writing skills, can easily use today's technology, and communicate effectively across all levels, we would love to connectCompensation:

$150,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects
• Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
• Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
• Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution
• Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
• The Senior Associate shall perform legal services including legal research; drafting agreements, resolutions, memos, and status updates; and overseeing and analyzing, documents provided by parties, etc.
• The Associate shall advocate for clients, conduct initial consultations with prospective clients, and serve as the principal contact between the Firm and its clients
• When delegated by the Partners, the Associate may prospect for new clients through marketing, networking, writing articles, and speaking engagements

Qualifications:

• Ability to use Microsoft Office is required
• Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role
• Work independently while handling a heavy caseload
• Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
• Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus
