    Description
    This is a full-time on-site role located in Orlando, FL.

    Position: Test TechnicianDepartment: QualitySchedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pmSalary: $ $24.00 per hour

    Summary:The Quality Test Technician is responsible for testing and sampling products to ensure conformity to specifications and standards. The Quality Test Technician will be responsible for identifying and reporting product and quality issues and working with production teams to resolve those issues as needed. Ensures adherence to quality guidelines through testing cables/harnesses using automated test equipment and minimal troubleshooting. Tasks include constructing, calibrating, advancing, and servicing test equipment to test our products and document results.

    Details:
    • Test Technician supports the manufacturing organization's Quality department.
    • Test Technician is responsible for programming, testing, and characterizing RF data to ensure accurate test results.
    • Test Technician executes test plans, troubleshoots component RF circuitry, and evaluates the performance and reliability of prototype or production assemblies.
    • Test Technician identifies and reports product and quality issues while working closely with leadership to resolve them effectively.
    • Test Technician oversees the calibration of all manufacturing tools.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Following documented procedures.
    • Test commercial and complex (mil-spec) electronic assemblies with pre-production or prototype documentation.
    • Testing cables/harnesses utilizing automated test equipment and conducting minor troubleshooting.
    • Conduct functional tests to measure the performance of production electronic systems, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
    • Pin Retention.
    • Regularly maintain the calibration of tools and testing equipment for all departments.
    • Documents and evaluates test results; detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches.
    • Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors, reporting any issues through the appropriate channels and offering recommendations to senior management regarding the results of a test.
    • Partners with engineers to drive QA efforts.
    • Other duties as may be assigned.

    Qualifications:
    • Knowledgeable in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality management.
    • Knowledge of electrical test methodology examples but not limited to.
    • Equipment: Oscilloscope, Multimeter. Automated Test Systems.
    • Result Validation Criteria: Tolerances, Control Limits, Pass/Fail.
    • Software: NETS/EASYWIRE.
    • Knowledge of electronic and electromechanical assemblies and the ability to solve problems.
    • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications: Specification, Blueprint/schematic, etc.
    • Technical knowledge and skills in troubleshooting with a solid understanding and working knowledge of RF test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Data Error Analyzers, RF generators, etc.

    RequiredEducation and Experience:
    • 1-2 yrs Vector Network Analyzers (VNA).
    • Associate's degree (A.A.) in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or technical school or two years of related or relevant experience in lieu of education.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints or schematics.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well with others.

    Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
    • Must be physically able to operate various production equipment and assembly tools.
    • Required to talk, hear, see, and sit (extended periods), stand, walk, bend and reach (both above and below the shoulder), and move, carry, and lift objects as needed
    • Must read, communicate, and comprehend effectively with others to exchange information in English.
    • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
    • Must have good color perception and eyesight and use magnification aids such as binocular microscopes and related test equipment effectively.
    • Possible exposure to fumes and unpleasant and offensive odors.
