    Job Summary

    Legal Order operations is an area with significant legal and reputational risk that processes third party levies, garnishments, temporary restraining notices, and seizure warrants related to debts or criminal activity, as well as subpoenas served on the bank for both civil and criminal matters.

    Attachments processes levies, garnishments, temporary restraining notices, and seizure warrants related to debts or criminal activity.
    • Review complex legal orders and make a determination whether to attach client funds via account maintenance by applying state or federal laws.
    • Determine eligibility for state or Federal Exemptions and apply Federal Exemptions to allow for access to exempt funds.
    • Provide official bank response to courts or agencies.
    • Initiate payment of funds to agency / court
    • Ability to quickly decision legal documents
    • Ability to comprehend subsequent follow up documents that may impact the status of orders.
    • Role includes contacting agencies, law enforcement as needed to provide status and applicability of funds.
    • Must be proficient navigating multiple screens for account information.
    • Ability to document legal cases in system of record accurately.
    Job Description:
    This job is responsible for leading multiple major operations segment for a site, region, or product line within the bank's internal operations. Key responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex problems, ensuring compliance with policies, and identifying and implementing opportunities to improve process performance and operating efficiency. Job expectations include coordinating activities and processes across operations segments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversees the forecasting and staffing levels and capacities, provides effective coaching, and shares constructive feedback to drive Operational Excellence

    • Leads and ensures teams adhere to bank and regulatory policy and procedures when making decisions that impact various operations and product lines

    • Provides strategic guidance to develop and analyze procedures to enhance unit and/or product-related activities while overseeing budget and expense management, reporting, and forecasting for designated areas

    • Evaluates efficiencies and identifies areas of improvement and growth to the overall process, identifying data, metrics, and key performance indicators to measure process effectiveness

    • Aligns bank priorities and strategies to employee metrics and goals and provides interventions as needed to recognize, encourage, and improve team performance to support an inclusive work environment

    Managerial Responsibilities:

    Required Skills:
    • 10+ years leadership experience including coaching and supervising.
    • 3 years or more of leading leaders, must be able to give direction to Managers.
    • Proficient in written communications- experience in dealing with regulators and/or corporate auditors.
    • Executive Presence -- Able to communicate across the organization at all levels.
    • Proficient in Microsoft applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint.
    • Ability to understand complex legal documents and requirements.
    • Previous retail banking, operational or analytical experience.
    • Deadline driven and able to work under pressure.
