Description

Williamsburg Landing, a CARF-accredited life plan community, seeks experienced and caring Registered Nurses (RN) to provide nursing care for those in the Health and Rehabilitation Center.

We are looking to fill Full-Time, Part-Time Plus, and Part-Time positions. Ideal candidates will have flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

RNs should also possess strong attention to detail, excellent follow through, and the ability to relate positively with residents, guests, and staff.

Rounds on assigned residents at least twice per shift to ensure resident safety and implementation of the plan of care; makes rounds with outgoing and incoming nurse to discuss residents on caseload and observed changes
Supervises CNA activities to ensure resident needs are met; obtains information from CNAs regarding response to care, changes in condition, or other information gathered during the shift; Performs professional nursing tasks and nursing procedures including venipuncture and intravenous therapy according to current standards, policies, and procedures
enters any new orders in the EMR and notifies resident's representative of new orders
Investigate any incidents that occur during the shift and complete incident report. Documents resident observations, changes in condition, response to care, delivery of medication and treatments, and other pertinent information according to departmental standards, policies and procedures
Maintains and updates care plans as necessary
Maintains positive and professional relationships with residents, guests, and other Williamsburg Landing employees
Two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred
Ability to read and write effectively in English
Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
Ability to safely lift and transfer residents
Employees may be required to work overtime when conditions that affect business needs make such scheduling necessary.
