    Description

    Position Summary: In this position, your primary goal will be to help eligible applicants obtain loans in a timely and professional manner while protecting our companys credibility. You will act as a liaison between customers and financial institutions who assist qualified applicants acquire loans and preparing of loan packages in a timely manner.

    Responsibilities:
    • Collect and prepare all necessary documentation for the loan package
    • Responsible for ensuring all loan documentation is complete, accurate, and complies with company policy
    • Assist Loan Officers in reviewing and completion of loan applications
    • Assess the credit standings of applicants through background research
    • Submit loan application files to underwriting
    • Communicate effectively with Loan officer and Loan Officer assistant
    • Order appraisal, VOEs, TRVs and flood
    • Record data to track the status of loans in processing
    • Identify customer needs, explore all options, and suggest different types of loans
    • Prepare and maintain all paperwork for existing and new loans, including loan disclosures
    • Ensure you always comply with the established regulations and law requirements
    • Submit/upload closing documentation files to system Trailing Docs
    • Follow-up with clients to verify important information
    • Assist in other task/duties as needed
    Qualifications

    Job Knowledge:
    • Basic knowledge of underwriting terminology
    • In-depth knowledge of the real estate industry and current trends
    • Proficient with standard software such as Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Maintain proper and professional etiquette and appearance
    • Strong attention to details, high degree of accuracy and excellent organizational skills
    • Exemplary customer service skills
    • Self-discipline, an aptitude for making good decisions and works efficiently under deadlines
    • Must be able to handle the pressure of a fast-paced office high work volume
    • The ability to work both independently and as a team member
    • Knowledgeable in all aspects of escrow, from opening to closing, is required
    Qualifications:
    • Must have a valid drivers license and successfully pass a background check
    • College degree preferred but not required
    • 2-3 years Mortgage experience preferred but not required
