- Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: A minimum of one year of pharmacy technician-related experience and/or equivalent medication historian related experience required.
- Prior outpatient/retail pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
- Licensure: Current State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license or equivalent licensed healthcare professional.

What you will do as a Medication Historian Technician:
Provides technical assistance with collecting, clarifying and documenting complete and accurate medication histories under the direction of the pharmacist.
Processes, enters, and interprets medication histories, under the supervision of the pharmacist, and completes medication history documentation into a computerized system.
Clarifies information though communication with providers, patients, patient family members and pharmacies. Works with multiple medication automation systems.What you will need as a Medication Historian Technician:
