    The Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Tulane University School of Medicine is recruiting a faculty position in inflammatory bowel disease at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor or Professor to develop our IBD program in pursuit of our goal of providing a wide array of exceptional clinical programs and to enhance our clinical research endeavors.

    This is a unique opportunity as this position involves a partnership with a large local and well-respected single specialty gastroenterology practice.

    The successful applicant will have completed training in gastroenterology with further specific training in inflammatory bowel disease. The candidate will be innovative and have a desire to rebuild a successful IBD program. Experience in clinical trials is preferred. You would work with GI fellows from the region's largest fellowship training program. We have a support team, along with local infusion services. Join our team of experienced colorectal surgeons, registered dieticians, nurse liaison, advanced practice clinician, and research coordinators.

    Additionally, this position will be responsible for the instruction and teaching of gastroenterology fellows and for patient care at two hospitals.


    • M.D./D.O who has successfully completed a gastroenterology fellowship program and specific training in inflammatory bowel disease (dedicated work experience within the field of IBD in lieu of sub-specialty IBD fellowship acceptable)
    • Gastroenterology Board Eligible or Board Certified
