    Description


    The Supervisor of Data & Assessment will manage all schoolwide data systems and platforms to ensure accurate and timely submissions to the LDOE.

    For testing requirements, the Supervisor of Data & Assessment supervises all testing across our elementary through High School campuses for both the Louisiana and French National program requirements.

    This includes all testing preparation, training, reporting, and logistics to ensure our schools have a smooth testing process that supports students' learning, high achievement, and accurate reporting.


    The Supervisor of Data & Assessment reports directly to the Deputy Superintendent and works in collaboration with the Chief of Academics and schoolwide academic team.


    Role and Responsibilities

    The duties of the Supervisor of Data & Assessment include, but are not limited to the following tasks:


    Data & Enrollment


    • Own the technical administration of PowerSchool SIS, PowerPack, PowerSchool customizations, EdLink 360 and school and LDOE data platforms across school district
    • Ensure accurate and timely submission for all LDOE required submissions
    • Train and assist school administrators, faculty, and staff with using school platforms
    • Analyze user requirements and design functional specifications for extending PowerSchool to include new functionality, such as enhanced reporting and data
    • Engage with support to plan, implement, coach, and train for new releases and program updates
    • Monitor ongoing operations and data integrity and do periodic student data audits
    • Support data analysis, student assessments and grading, and other reporting needs
    • Work with staff to align PowerSchool parameters to schoolwide goals and other data policies
    • Maintain appropriate system documentation on procedures and configurations
    • Work with staff from multiple schools to ensure attendance and enrollment records are accurate
    • Point person for data integration which includes rostering and single sign-on with 3rd party vendor solutions
    • Collaborate with various local and state agencies to secure relevant information and submissions
    • Act as the PowerSchool Enrollment and Salesforce administrator for the annual registration process through EnrollNOLA
    • Oversee accuracy of student enrollments, student transfers, student withdrawals, discipline, grading, and scheduling.
    • Serve as the PowerSchool system administrator by entering, summarizing, analyzing, and reviewing data for accuracy to produce standard, custom and confidential reports for LFNO as needed.
    • Trains campus staff to enter, summarize, analyze, and review data for accuracy and to produce standard, custom and confidential reports for each campus as needed.
    • Manage file distribution from state's secure FTP.
    • Work in collaboration with school counselors to ensure accuracy of STS.
    • Work with other departments and stakeholders to provide requested information, student records and data
    • Process applications during admissions season and enrollment documents during registration season.
    • Participate in outreach and recruiting efforts, which includes attending recruitment events such as Open House, school tours, early education visitations, and community events.

    Testing


    • Serve as the District Testing Coordinator and collaborate with school testing coordinators and the Information Technology team.
    • Oversee test accountability and security. Receive, inventory, secure, and create a plan of distribution of all paper-based and computer-based assessment materials for all mandated assessments.
    Responsible for secure testing materials and to ensure proper procedures streamline the testing process for:


    • State mandated assessments such as LEAP 2025 and EOCs; French exams such as DELF, BREVET, and the French Baccalaurat. and grade-specific benchmark assessments such as DIBELS, iReady, as well as high school AP exam coordination, ACT and PSAT.
    • Work with the Exceptional Student Services (ESS) team to assign students' legal accommodations within the test set-up, grouping of students, ratios, and specific teacher training for the accommodations.
    • Supervise the development of all testing schedules and logistics in collaboration with school testing coordinators to ensure an effective testing environment. This may mean working jointly with academic and operation teams.
    • Ensure smooth administration and monitoring of the testing environment and students. Ensure testing procedures and testing security regulations are followed.
    • Account for all testing materials, test scoring, and data reports for teams and the secure return of all testing materials.
    • Collaborate with the academic team to disaggregate data for use in instructional decision making.
    • Execute staff security training including legal state training and recording any certificates that go with the training. Attends all assessment training as directed by the State Assessment Coordinator.
    • Act as a liaison between LFNO and the State Assessment Coordinator for proper implementation of assessment guidelines and criteria.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience
    • 2 to 3 years of experience, preferably in education or project management.

    Preferred Qualifications


    • Experience in an urban school setting
    • Proficiency in written and oral French and/or Spanish
    • 2 to 3 years of experience, preferably in education or project management.
    • Previous experience with LDOE Edlink360 & LEADS databases (SIS, eScholar, CUR, SPS, SER, TSDL, SPC, STS)
    • Familiarity with CommonApp process and deadlines
    • Analytical mindset with problem solving skills
    • Strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures
