- Conduct site visits to document existing conditions and understand client needs.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports accurately.
- Analyze customer design parameters and data to evaluate feasibility and maintenance requirements.
- Complete and document mechanical design tasks for HVAC, plumbing, and process mechanical projects.
- Use 3D modeling software for design models and construction drawings.
- Create engineering drawings, sketches, Process Flow Diagrams, and Control Diagrams in electronic or manual formats.
- Provide construction administration services, including reviewing drawings, attending meetings, conducting inspections, and overseeing system startup.
- Analyze mechanical systems and assess component criticality.
- Collaborate with a team to integrate design information and client standards into construction documents.
- Support the Engineer of Record in system component selection and design.
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of fans, pumps, piping, valves, HVAC, and control systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with load calculation and energy modeling software is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit is required.
