Description

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Mental Health Therapist in Southgate, Michigan.

Job Description:

Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions to support the professional development of therapists
Monitor and evaluate the quality of therapy services provided by the team
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards in mental health therapy
Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive care to clients

Essential Qualifications:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMSW, LLP)
Previous experience providing therapy services to individuals with mental health concerns
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities:
Manage and process crisis situations with program staff and clients
Maintain electronic medical record training and assist staff
Review treatment records and provide direction for documentation improvement
Manage staff and department within span of control
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committee meetings
Maintain compliance with program requirements and staff credentials
Attend meetings, conferences, and trainings in the community
Assist clinical staff in utilizing data from electronic medical records
Assess community needs and assign priorities for service delivery
Collaborate with inter-departmental groups to ensure program administration
Complete required documentation, referrals, and paperwork
Abide by and support Person Centered Planning guidelines
Follow professional code of ethics
Perform other duties as assigned
