Peridot is seeking to hire an Acquisitions Analyst to support a new Federal Contract in Fort Meade, MD. Interested and qualified candidates with secret clearance, please reply with your resume, desired salary, and contact info.

Location: Fort Meade, MD. (Fully remote position as of today. Should be residing within driving distance to Fort Meade, MD)

Clearance: Active Secret

Acquisition Specialist II: Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience.

Preferred: DAWIA / FAC-C certification in Acquisitions.

· Provide technical and functional activities for the process of providing acquisition subject/domain expertise support to Government acquisition professionals.

· Provide acquisition expertise, acquisition support, and acquisition guidance to Government personnel to support integrated, disciplined, and consistent acquisition processes and procedures, which are tailored to the agency's mission.

· Assist in the identification of requirements to support the acquisition, sustainment, and supportability of programs.

· Provide expertise in all phases of the acquisition (pre-award, award, and post-award phases) with focus on pre-award activities. Support the PMO with post-award administration during the lifecycle of that award.

· Assist in defining acquisition performance metrics, developing test case plans and analytic procedures.

· Perform quality reviews and provide improvement recommendations to maximize efficiencies and standardization within the acquisition process across different program offices.

· Review and report on changes to policy and provide recommendations to the Government for consideration of potential updates to policies, guidelines, guides, directives, instructions, and regulations, or non-compliance issues.

· Review acquisition documents and provide constructive feedback to the customer based on programmatic, contractual, and regulatory compliance of statutes and regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and DISA Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DARS), prior to submission to the Decision Authority for approval. The Contractor shall develop and coordinate reports, action items, and briefing charts.

· Provide a comprehensive phased approach for the continuous identification and implementation of improvements and efficiencies to the acquisition process.

· Any other related duties as assigned by the Government Lead.
