- Provide ambulatory, home, and inpatient care to patients in the High Risk Medical Pilot.
- Consult with patients in the hospital daily, working collaboratively with the medical staff.
- Participate in night call rotations to ensure 24/7 patient coverage.
- Engage in team-based care with various healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient treatment.
- Diagnose conditions, recommend tests, monitor lab results, and prescribe treatments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and treatment plans.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Hold a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree.
- Have completed either an Internal Medicine Residency or Family Medicine Residency.
- Be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal/Family Medicine.
- Possess current medical licensure issued by PA State Board of Medicine or the PA State Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Maintain good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other health insurance programs.
