    Description

    Schedule: Two-Week Rotating Shift

    * Resume Required *

    RESPONSIBILITIES:(Not limited to the following)

    • Repair/troubleshoot electrical equipment such as AC/DC and servomotors, instrumentation, pneumatic components, hydraulic components, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment
    • Ability to work closely with the Maintenance Manager, supervisors, Maintenance Technicians, Maintenance Engineer and Maintenance Planner to review work requests and determine objectives of the jobs
    • Observe all production, finishing and support equipment to determine cause of malfunctions
    • Perform necessary maintenance to the equipment and machinery to repair or replace defective parts
    • Perform a variety of electrical tests to determine exact cause of issues
    • Perform adjustments and calibration procedures on various forms of process equipment and instrumentation
    • Perform preventative maintenance as instructed on all equipment/machinery/facility
    • Initiate purchase requests for parts and supplies
    • Make necessary electrical installations and/or repairs
    • Work with each department, providing necessary electrical support to support in day-to-day operations
    • Maintain a written or electronic log of any highlights occurring during shift coverage
    • Understands safety always comes first

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 5 Years of industrial electrical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Basic understanding of Ladder Logic and Function Block programming
    • Working knowledge of industrial motor controls and troubleshooting techniques
    • Allen Bradley PLC and Wonderware experience preferred
    • Demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles/concepts
    • Read/comprehend instructions given thru electronic/mechanical instruction books
    • Effectively communicate in a one-on-one or small group situation
    • Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
    • Work in a safe manner
    • Self-motivated and detail-oriented - ability to work with minimal supervision, yet comfortable in communicating when questions / concerns arise
