- Generate leads from industry events; tradeshows, inbound inquiries and direct outreach.
- Qualify leads and potential applications, based on a thorough understanding of our products and industrial thermal processes, incl steam.
- Work with our application engineers to develop quotes; present to customers; overcome barriers and close sales.
- Manage the customer relationship from contract through successful installation and beyond.
- Identify, assess and sign-up distributors and rep firms. This includes engineering firms; industrial energy audit firms; utility sales teams and others.
- Train sales partners on our products and applications; support them with opportunity assessments, sizing and quoting.
- Manage the sales partners including target setting and tracking; performance reviews; etc.
- Track and manage opportunities using our CRM from inquiry through closing for direct sales and our sales partners.
- Help develop sales materials, including submittals; case studies; white papers; testimonials and other materials.
- Work with marketing to create content and maintain a steady cadence of communication to the market through social media and other channels.
- Knowledge of industrial energy systems, including steam; knowledge of heat pumps and their applicability.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Energy, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years sales or business development experience in industrial equipment, preferably HVAC; heat pumps and/or steam systems.
- Proven track record of providing engaging technical presentations pertaining to the application of a specific HVAC or electro-mechanical product to customers and sales partners, incl professional engineers.
- Experience using and managing a CRM. Computer literate in a GSuite/Windows environment.
- Experience servicing or sizing HVAC and/or steam systems for industrial applications is a plus.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to customers' sites; trade shows and industry events across North America. Travel is expected 10% -20% of time on average.

Job Description:
Nyle is looking for an Entrepreneurial, Technical Sales Manager to develop a new market segment for our Industrial Heat Pumps. This is an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, technical sales role.
Our High Temperature Heat Pumps are opening up a large, new market segment for the company. Market interest is very high but the heat pump applications are quite new. Therefore, this will be a matter of selling demonstration projects, developing direct sales from scratch and in parallel building a sales / distribution channel of engineering firms, industrial energy auditors and the like. Then help scale the business from there. Activities include:

The right candidate is preferably on-site in Bangor Maine but at least hybrid, within commuting distance.
