We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Philadelphia (Blue Bell) office with at least 5-10 years of design and project management experience. Projects may include Electric/Power, Emergency Generators, HVAC, Plumbing, Sprinkler, , etc. Responsibilities will include assessment, work scope development, managing project schedules and budgets, and quality control. Preference to candidates that have experience assisting with development of new project proposals and supervising project engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand requirements for new construction or restoration projects
• Write proposals for new work
• Perform field condition assessments to accurately document existing electrical equipment and systems and prepare technical reports of your findings
• Develop an accurate Scope of Work and Construction Cost Estimate
• Prepare design calculations, riser diagrams, and equipment selections
• Coordinate work with fellow MEP/FP engineers and other consultants, architects, and/or disciplines
• Produce construction drawing documents and reports
• Perform quality control
• Act as technical resource for the electrical department
• Attend and represent the firm in meetings
• Manage budgets for assigned projects
• Ensure all trades complete projects on time, quality, and budget
• Act as the Primary Point of Contact with the Client and communicate requirements to the project team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Electrical Engineering or Architecture
• Minimum 5-10 years of design and project management experience
• PE Registration is desired
• Experience in independently managing multiple simultaneous A/E projects
• Strong leadership skills and be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with multiple deadlines
• Working knowledge of local and national codes including National Electrical Code, IEEE, and electrical equipment standards
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and Revit
