- Lead weekly live online customer product demonstrations & training from the DMF Studio
- Manage new rep onboarding training
- Manage 1 on 1 virtual training when our reps add new employees to their teams.
- Support new product launches
- Developing Launch training Materials
- Train internal inside & outside sales teams on new product features
- Administer in person product trainings at key rep agencies across the country
- Review spec sheets and installation guides for accuracy
- Help to develop content for the DMF blog supporting launches
- Provide technical input on story boards for corresponding product video production
- Administer streamlined product training section of regular in-person customer & rep visits.

Job DescriptionDMF Marketing values collaboration, creativity, initiative, and performance. We are seeking a full-time Product Educator to join our team. As the Product Education you will fulfill various duties and responsibilities, including developing, organizing, administering, product training sessions both internally for new employees of DMF and externally for our channel of customers and sales representatives. You will report to the Director of Commercial Growth and work collaboratively with all DMF departments to prepare effective training materials, allocate resources, and execute within allotted timeframes.
This role is onsite in Carson, CA.
The pay range is $80,000 to $120,000 (depending on skills/experience).
Responsibilities include:
• The Product Educator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing product training & launch planning programs from start to finish including identifying learning objectives, content, methods, resources, timelines, and evaluation criteria
To succeed in this role, the Product Educator will require excellent time management and communication skills, as you will collaborate with various internal teams to deliver results within deadlines and have a vision to creatively approach disseminating the wealth of institutional knowledge those at DMF have to digestible pieces that will stay with our team. Ultimately, the Product Educator is to ensure internally and externally DMF is effectively training our internal staff, extended sales force (reps), and customers (specifiers, contractors, distributors).
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of proven work experience in a technical field including but not limited to engineering, architecture, lighting design, product design, sales or marketing
• Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and time management with the ability to meet deadlines and the leadership prowess to execute.
• Outstanding communication, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
• Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills
• Confidence in public speaking both on camera and via in-person presentations.
• Experience with developing training materials & processes to track and evaluate effectiveness.
• BS or BA in a related field; Preferably Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture or Business Administration
• 15-25% travel required annually
