    **Plant Operator Job Summary**

    The Plant Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and performing minor repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, including generators and solar fields.

    This role involves monitoring equipment, detecting potential issues, and adjusting controls to regulate power output. The successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with contractors, communicating with management, and ensuring safe work practices.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    • Operate control systems, generators, and solar fields to ensure reliable and efficient operation
    • Conduct regular checks on equipment, gauges, and indicators to detect potential issues
    • Adjust controls to regulate generator power output and perform routine maintenance tasks
    • Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with safety regulations
    • Communicate openly with management and coworkers about operational issues
    • Perform general housekeeping and maintain company-owned vehicles and equipment

    **Requirements:**

    • High school degree or equivalent
    • 2-5 years of experience operating and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems
    • Ability to work safely from ladders, elevated platforms, and boom lifts
    • OSHA 30 training a plus
