The Technical Support Engineer will serve as the primary backup to our dedicated Technical Support Manager, ensuring continuous, high-quality support for our major accounts. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in technical support within industrial, manufacturing, or similar environments, who is eager to grow their skills under expert mentorship and wants to be in a control systems focused role with no travel.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Provide first-level and second-level support, handling incident management and resolution.
Work closely with the Technical Support Manager to understand client-specific requirements and deliverables.
Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and internal teams to manage expectations and report on issue resolution.
Assist in developing and refining support processes and workflows to enhance service delivery.
Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 support coverage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive support experience.

Qualifications:

2+ years in an engineering role supporting multiple disciplines including industrial control systems, server based HMI/SCADA systems, and industrial networks
Strong communication skills in a remote support environment with the ability to work effectively under pressure with short timelines.
Familiarity with common industrial systems and environments including Rockwell, Schneider, Honeywell, and other industrial control technologies is a plus.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a keen interest in technology.
Openness to learning and adapting to new challenges.
