    Job Summary:


    The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for all warehouse, shipping, and receiving functions, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of all materials essential to production at Clarity Output Solutions (COS).

    The Logistics Supervisor oversees the validation and fulfillment of material requests throughout the facility, as well as all Shipping functions including the packing, processing, and dispatch of finished goods.

    The Logistics Supervisor directly supervises a team of Warehouse and Shipping employees and assigns tasks and communicates objectives to these employees daily.

    This position requires safely operating and training associates on power equipment to unload deliveries and store materials in designated rack locations.

    The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for consistent monitoring and managing inventory.

    In addition, the Logistics Supervisor also assists in a wide variety of tasks related to the maintenance of the facility.

    This position reports to the Director, Operations & OSHA Compliance.
    Essential Functions

    • Develops strategies to prioritize, organize, and accomplish organizational, departmental, and individual goals.
    • Trains and continuously develops new and current warehouse employees.
    • Continually provides leadership, support, and guidance to team.
    • Reviews processes and procedures to improve current standards and increase efficiencies.
    • Responds promptly to all communications, including verbal instructions, requests via the inventory system, and internal emails. Monitors emails regularly.
    • Oversees the daily workflow of the Warehouse and Shipping departments and organizes staff accordingly.
    • Oversees the receipt, storage, rotation, and internal delivery of all warehouse materials.
    • Supervises all Shipping and Receiving functions in Pace and COS proprietary software platforms.
    • Sets up new inventory items in COS system.
    • Supports receiving by inspecting incoming material to ensure products received match packing slip.
    • Safely operates all power equipment including forklifts, stand-up lifts, electric pallet jacks and all other equipment in warehouse.
    • Trains associates on safe forklift operation.
    • Responsible for scheduling equipment maintenance.
    • Manages inventory locations and tracks movement within warehouse.
    • Manages periodic inventory cycle counts and monthly inventory requirements.
    • Coordinates and determines shipping methods, routes, and rates for materials to be shipped.
    • Works closely with the Driver to ensure that all deliveries leave the building in a timely fashion.
    • Works cooperatively with other departments to help achieve manufacturing goals.
    • Assists in light handiwork/maintenance/cleaning as needed.
    • Performs general housekeeping including general upkeep both in and outside of the facility, trash/waste removal, and general assistance.
    • Other duties as assigned by management.
    Education Required

    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
    Knowledge & Experience

    • 5-7 years of warehouse experience required.
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
    • Experience with power equipment (forklift, pallet jack) is required.
    • Computer skills including proficiency in web browsers and MS Office Applications including Excel and Word required.
    • Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
    • Experience with data entry preferred.
    • Experience with UPS Worldship preferred.
    • Basic math & reading skills required.
