    Position:

    Environmental Impact Research InternSchedule:
    Monday-Friday 9-5

    Hourly Payrate:
    $25/hour for Masters Level Education or $27/hour for PhD level EducationThis is an exciting opportunity for a subject matter expert within the field of sustainable agriculture to contribute to Pivot Bio's impact research. The primary responsibility will be to develop a comprehensive literature review on pathways of nitrogen loss from row cropping systems in relevant crops and geographies and the off-farm impacts of those loss pathways. Depending on interest and expertise, the role may also conduct a technical analysis of existing N2O calculation methodologies and source relevant literature values for regional emissions factors for target crops and regions.


    Responsibilities:
    In this role, an intern may: Develop literature review contributing to a whitepaper on the impacts of nitrogen loss at various scalesCatalog existing process models addressing nitrogen flux in agricultural soils and conduct technical analysis of eachCollaborating with the impact team within Finance, PR/Comms, Commerical Sustainability to support research needs and develop annotated issue briefs on specific topicsDevelop key impact metrics for emerging crops and regions of interestDevelop a learning project and present project objective and results upon completion of internship
