    Mold Maintenance Technician (2nd shift)

    Summary

    Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on molds, correcting mold defects, and completing required documentation. Work hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.

    Diagnoses and completes mold repairs in the Tool Shop and on the Production floor in accordance with the mold condition report.

    Performs preventative maintenance as required.

    Completes all required documents, including mold condition reports, mold spare parts report, and enters the data into the BDE system.

    Assists in training and directing Apprentices to meet production goals and learning objectives.
    Responsible for the care of mold components during all aspects of mold disassembly and assembly.

    Education and/or Experience

    Associate's degree in a Mechanical Science from a two-year college or technical school; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Basic knowledge of metal polishing and mold electrical wiring.
    Ability to use various types of hand tools.
    Working knowledge of the metric measurement system.
