    We are seeking a IT Director to join our team in Central Falls, RI

    This is a full-time position to provide strategic leadership and vision for the IT department, aligning technology initiatives with the overall mission and values of the facility.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the management of our technological systems, including Active Directory, Vmware/Vsphere, and network security measures, to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of sensitive data.
    • Lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to technology usage, data management, and information security, with a strong emphasis on ethical considerations and respect for individual privacy rights.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, continually assessing their potential impact on our operations and the individuals in our care.

    Qualifications: Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Active Directory, Vmware/Vsphere, and network security.
    • Understanding the implementation of a security lifecycle, including the process of deploying, managing, and maintaining security measures throughout the entire lifespan of the infrastructure.
    • Proficiency in implementing and managing complex IT infrastructures, including servers, storage systems, and virtualization technologies.
    • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, including threat detection, incident response, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Experience with data encryption, access control mechanisms, and identity management solutions to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
    • Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations relevant to detention facilities, such as HIPAA, and the ability to ensure IT systems adhere to such requirements.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, and experience in integrating cloud solutions into existing IT environments is preferred.
