    Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

    Job Description:

    The Prevention Team Leader is responsible for developing and supervising the delivery of services within the Prevention Program.

    In Central Illinois, we provide interactive youth prevention education using evidence-based curriculum for children in fourth through eighth grades in more than 20 schools.

    Our specialists partner with schools to teach social-emotional learning skills covering communication, peer pressure refusal, decision-making, emotion management, and more.

    They also provide age-appropriate information about drugs and drug use such as alcohol, marijuana, opioids, prescription medications, inhalants, vaping, and substance use prevention.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and supervise the organization and delivery of clinical services within the Prevention program area
    • Implement and maintain systems of accountability to monitor department utilization and staff resources
    • Ensure the delivery of quality service, positive outcomes, and customer satisfaction
    • Promote the team concept throughout the program and the organization
    • Mentor staff by providing feedback on job performance, professional development, and personal balance

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies, Health Studies, Education, or related field, or equivalent experience and training
    • Mental Health Professional (MHP) qualification per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132
    • Prior experience in facilitating group activities preferred
