    Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWelch Fluorocarbon, Inc. is currently looking to fill the role of Warehouse Material Handler for our Manufacturing Team. Since 1985, Welch Fluorocarbon has specialized in providing thermoformed and heat-sealed products to a variety of customers. We utilize the best, thin, high-performance films. Welch Fluorocarbon was founded to answer the industry's demand for high-performance plastic products.

    Essential Tasks:

    Pick/pack finished goods - using a pick ticket, picking specific items and quantitiesPerform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sortingMove product and inventory using a Work Assist Vehicle (WAV) and/or Power Pallet Jack Ability to use the ERP System to verify raw material needsPick raw materials for sheeting purposesMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulationsWill be trained to assist with shipping and sheeting dutiesMove materials or finished goods between the shipping and receiving warehouse and the manufacturing facilityPerform related additional duties as requested by supervisionRequirements High School Diploma or GED requiredUnderstand and follow basic verbal and written instructionsEffectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organizationPossess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionExceptional eye hand coordinationAble to concentrate while doing repetitive tasksAble to work quickly and methodicallyGood written and verbal communication skillsValid driver's licenseMust possess and have on file with Welch Fluorocarbon, Inc.

    a current DOT Medical Card Must annually submit and have on file a current driving record reportTraining Certifications required:

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to use hands to handle or feel Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminalMay be required to stand for long periods of timeMay involve some repetitive motionsMay also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containersDue to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and coldEligibility to WorkMust be able to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form.

    Must be able to pass a Background Check.
