    Job Title: Registered Nurse II

    The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care in the 4T Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

    Job Summary:

    Under general supervision, this role delivers safe and effective care, interacting with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired results.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provides individualized, goal-directed patient care utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process
    • Delivers safe and effective care, prioritizing patient needs and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team
    • Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient information, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
    • Candidates must have at least an Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred

    Requirements:

    • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for most nursing areas within the hospital

    Working Conditions:

    This role requires standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors, and occasional exposure to temperature extremes. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., exert 20-50 lbs. of force to transfer patients, and work rotating shifts, including overtime as required.

    The estimated salary range for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This position includes a sign-on bonus for full-time employees with relevant experience.
