Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic for a busy repair shop
Essential Functions of Job:
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing all types of trailers including, End Dumps, Walking Floors, Belly Dumps, Refuse trailers etc.
- Repair, recondition and maintain equipment.
- Possess an appropriate tool set for position.
- Maintain company equipment.
- Experience in Electrical and Hydraulics preferred.
- Trailer air brake systems.
- Welding/Fabrication skills.
- Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance to ensure work meets fleet and customer specifications and expectations.

Required education:
- High School or Equivalent
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 6 months related experience in trailer PMs and Repairs
- 2 years' Experience in Welding: Stick, Tig and Mig
- Required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a Drug Screen
Required license or certification:
- Current Driver's License
- CDL a Plus
