    Director Surgical Services:
    Strategic and inspirational leadership needed for a growing non-profit community hospital

    Position will manage a team of 95 direct reports and will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer

    The hospital performs over 8,000 annual surgeries across 10 OR's including General, Orthopedic, Cardiothoracic, GYN, Robotics, Plastics, Neuro, and Urology

    Well supported by a Nurse Manager, team of Clinical Supervisors, and a Department Educator

    About the RN

    Director Surgical Services Position:
    In this role, you will provide the strategic leadership for the Surgical Services Department. The Director will establish and set goals and objectives for the department, manage the department budget, provide mentoring and coaching to your leaders and staff, create and maintain collaborative and positive relationships across all levels, and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies

    Should be able to build and maintain positive relationships across all levels to ensure the highest level of patient care is consistently provided

    Qualifications & Requirements for RN

    Director Surgical Services:
    Active RN License

    Master's degree required (if Master's not in Nursing, must have Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

    Minimum five (5) years of progressive surgical services/operating room leadership experience

    Minimum five (5) years of clinical Operating Room nursing experience

    Must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in leading teams, identifying growth strategies and recruitment and retention strategies, and building collaborative and positive relationships across all levels
