Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation, food handling, and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively
- Basic math skills for order entry, check splitting, and cash handling accuracy
- Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nights as required in a vibrant nightlife or restaurant setting
