- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the designated area
- Prepare the subfloor by removing existing flooring, leveling, and cleaning - Install flooring materials such as carpet, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and tile
- Apply adhesives, nails, or staples to secure flooring materials
- Ensure proper alignment and tight seams between flooring pieces
- Trim excess material and finish edges using appropriate tools
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Proven experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role
- Proficient in using tools and equipment related to flooring installation
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and their installation techniques
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for flooring installation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
