- Implement and maintain web applications across the stack using and TypeScript, including backend express services and React clients.
- Liaise with Product Strategy and Product Team leadership to understand Roadmap priorities, provide guidance on the best technical solution for initiatives and optimal team resources to align against said initiatives.
- Collaborate across team members to produce loosely coupled, highly maintainable backend systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, iterate functionality, and contribute to the overall success of the product.
- Plan, estimate, and prioritize work in a remote, distributed team environment.
- 3+ years' experience in full stack web development.
- Proficient in , JavaScript, and Typescript technologies.
- Proficient building React web applications.
- Proficient in relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL preferred).
- Familiar with in-memory data-stores (Redis, Memcached).
- Experience building REST services (Express).
- Experience with GraphQL services (Apollo).
- Familiarity with React storybook / component driven development.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- 5+ years' experience in full stack web development.
- Familiarity with functional programming and Software design patterns.
- Understanding of asynchronous operations.
- Experience building Python services (Flask, FastAPI).
- Experience with pub-sub and queue-based messaging systems (Kafka, Redis).
- Experience building microservice architecture at scale.
- Experience working with agile development methodologies.
