Job Title: Medical Assistant (35 hours per week)

Location: Plainfield, CT

Employment Type: Temporary Contract

About the Company: Join the team at J. Morrissey & Co., where we are currently looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our busy primary care practice in Plainfield, CT - a fantastic place to gain valuable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Collecting and documenting patient medical histories, vitals, and test results with the utmost confidentiality.
Managing daily administrative tasks such as scheduling, patient check-in/out, and maintaining medical records.
Preparing examination rooms and assisting healthcare providers with procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant.
Completion of a medical assistant certification program.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service abilities.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Schedule and Location Details:

Approximately 35 hours per week.
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
One half-day per week, rotational as per provider's schedule.
Temporary contract position.
