NET Core Developer ( Software Engineer )to join our dynamic team.
Reporting and working closely with the Senior Director of Information Technology, the .NET Core Developer will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing our existing VB 6.0 and applications, as well as leading the migration of these applications to .NET Core.
Your responsibilities will span the full life cycle of development for and based systems, showcasing your ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Primary Responsibilities (Role):
Maintain and enhance existing VB 6.0 and applications, including the integration of 3rd party applications.
Lead the migration of existing applications to .NET Core.
Full life-cycle development responsibilities for and based systems.
Demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, self-motivation, and the capability to work independently.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
Integrate with partner solutions via REST-based APIsEnsure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Exhibit effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical professionals.
Possess good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
ExperienceTechnical strengths in the following Microsoft technologies:
Visual Studio / C# / .NET CORE /Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, or similar.
Familiarity with Reporting Services (SSRS)Strong understanding of web development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
CompetenciesBachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)7+ years experience designing, developing and deploying applications within a Microsoft .Net environment.
