    Our Pennsylvania office is seeking a New Grad for Summer 2024 with an interest in water resources to join our Transportation department. The successful candidate can be located in Philadelphia, King of Prussia, Harrisburg, or Pittsburgh offices.

    Assists the Water Resources team by performing basic engineering-related tasks. Designs include highway, bridge, and transit system projects. Our team designs key infrastructure investments for PennDOT, PA Turnpike, SEPTA, and Amtrak.

    Aspects of the position include: Assists in preparation of technical reports, calculations, and engineering plans for water resource designs including drainage, post-construction stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, erosion and sediment pollution control, site grading, permit materials, cost estimates, and quantities. Opportunity to Participate in field visits or client meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.

    What You'll Do:

    • Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
    • Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
    • Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
    • Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
    • Supports engineering teams with various tasks and duties including but not limited to research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    What You'll Need:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

    What You'll Bring:

    • Exhibits an understanding of engineering principles relevant to the discipline.
    • Attains knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with MicroStation and/or AutoCad or other software.

    What We Prefer:

    • Master's degree in Civil Engineering
    • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
    • Knowledgeable in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
